Requiring customers to select a showtime first on recurring events

If you're creating a recurring or multi-performance series, you can require the customer to first select the event date before being able to access the ticket options. By default, customers are automatically routed to the next in this series. With this feature enabled, customers are forced to explicitly choose showtime before making a purchase.

To enable this feature follow these steps:

  • Log in to your Purplepass event organizer dashboard
  • In the dashboard, click Create New Event or, choose to edit an existing event

  • Create a new recurring/series event or Edit a preexisting recurring/series event
  • In the Basics section, click the option Force a customer to choose a showtime
