If you are looking to use Purplepass for managing volunteer sign-ups, you can easily configure the system to serve as a volunteer registration platform. By following the steps below, you’ll be able to turn your event into a volunteer opportunity page without needing to collect payment details.
- Log in to your Purplepass event organizer dashboard
- In the dashboard, click Create New Event or, choose to edit an existing event
- Fill in the general event details like event name, date, location, etc.
Skip any price-related fields, as this event will serve as a sign-up page for volunteers and will not require payment.
- Scroll down to the Additional Options section
- At the bottom of this section, check the box for Use custom text for 'Buy Tickets' buttons and links
- In the text field provided, enter your preferred custom wording
- This change will be reflected anywhere your event appears in the system, replacing the typical "Buy Tickets" button with your custom message
- Once you’ve entered all the necessary information and customized the button text, review the event details, and click Save
