Introducing Our Enhanced Cellular Data Service

Purplepass understands the importance of reliable internet connectivity for event equipment. To support this need, we have upgraded to a commercial-grade cellular aggregation platform specifically designed for mission-critical applications requiring optimal uptime, speed, and consistent connectivity.

How the New Service Works

Our scanners and mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) terminals now use SIM cards that simultaneously support three major U.S. cellular carriers:

  • Verizon
  • T-Mobile
  • AT&T

Devices automatically monitor and evaluate the connection quality of these carriers, selecting the strongest, most stable network available in real-time. If conditions change, such as increased network congestion or an unexpected tower outage, the equipment automatically and seamlessly switches to the best available network, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity throughout the USA.

Expanded Coverage in Canada

We have also expanded our cellular data coverage into Canada using Telus, one of Canada’s largest and most reliable cellular carriers. Canadian events will now benefit from improved cellular connectivity without requiring additional setup.

Real-Time Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Our new real-time monitoring and remote network troubleshooting tools will enable our team to:

  • Confirm equipment network status (online/offline)
  • Monitor real-time connectivity and network performance
  • Remotely reset network connections or manually switch carriers
  • Quickly identify and resolve network-related issues to ensure continuous performance
